  • One of the most beautiful stadiums I've visited so far. It is a very old stadium, it was opened in 1946 and holds approx. 35000 people. It is the home stadium of the team Cruz Azul and is located in the colony of Napoles. You have a super view in this stadium of all places. In this stadium, there are only seats. The ticket prices are very cheap and not to compare with Germany. Even if the Mexican Football League level rather resembles the 2nd Bundesliga, it was a great experience. The Estadio Azul is definitely my favorite Stadium in Mexico City. I would recommend every football fan to visit this beautiful, nostalgic old stadium.

  • When I heard that they would pull the blue Stadium to build a tower of departments and commercial center of truth I did pause to breathe and I wondered who told investors that in the city of Mexico and especially those who live in the area, are we desirous of a mall more? The development of a city should never be the same that destroy our places of recreation. My son is football and the things that really we enjoyed in the middle of the chaos of the city, is to have the privilege of walking from House to see games at this place. Gentlemen! We need to keep a balance in this city that gives us everything. Development, Yes, but not at the expense of the mood of people who live here, not everything in this city should be work all week to have money to spend the weekend in a shopping mall. We are aware of the few green areas that remain.

  • Unfortunately just recently announced that the stadium will be demolished and will cease to exist, so after many years will cease to be the home of Cruz Azul celeste machine. It is located opposite the Plaza Monumental de Toros, is a bare stage and the curious thing about this building is that the pitch is below the level of the street, in contrast to the vast majority, in which there is to climb to get to the stands.

  • Best team of mexico corazon azul
  • Nice view from almost anyplace, without parking lot, the access to the entrance becomes complicated before starting the event
  • It is a small stadium where the Cruz Azul soccer team has games. There is no parking, but there is metro bus station nearby and metro is about 15 minutes away.
  • Cruz Azul vs FC Porto Loved the stadium and atmosphere! Saw Iker Casillas!
  • Too much people. Not very nice area.

Where to stay in Mexico City

Head straight to the trendy neighborhoods of Roma or La Condesa if you're looking for an artsy atmosphere--you can find design-conscious hostels and boutique hotels nestled among the many bars, restaurants, cafes, and galleries. For easy access to the city's most beautiful architecture, you can't beat staying in the historical center, although the neighborhood's UNESCO-listing means you'll only find smaller, old-fashioned options there. You can also indulge in a few luxury nights in the fancy Polanco district, or look for a more budget-friendly option in the popular Zona Rosa.
