  • Is always good for a family day out. Plenty of places to walk and eat and enjoy the warm weather. Some parts of the park are quieter than others. It can be a bit overwhelming in the areas where they are selling sweets and toys etc. Worth having a go on the boats. Enjoy
  • I enjoyed the castle, but be careful going up there is a great exercise since it's steep. They do have a little train but it gets filled super fast. Also, there is a zoo, I was quite amazed by how big it is. I got too see a HUGE orangutan monkey, which in my opinion is a rare find.
  • Fantastic views and exhibits in the museums! Perfect weather the day we went and most of the time! Very friendly staff and a wonderful experience altogether!
  • Lots of squirrels and birds - it definitely feels like a forest! It's not as quiet as one would hope for in a forest, but it's still 100 times quieter than the rest of the city! A good place to walk around, relax, and get away from the stress of the city.
  • A wonderful oasis in a sometimes hectic city. You can have a lovely walk around, great food stalls, a market for some souvenirs etc. When I went there was plenty of art sculptures around. While you are there I recommend visiting the castle which is very close by. Also many museums in the area to go to.

Where to stay in Mexico City

Head straight to the trendy neighborhoods of Roma or La Condesa if you're looking for an artsy atmosphere--you can find design-conscious hostels and boutique hotels nestled among the many bars, restaurants, cafes, and galleries. For easy access to the city's most beautiful architecture, you can't beat staying in the historical center, although the neighborhood's UNESCO-listing means you'll only find smaller, old-fashioned options there. You can also indulge in a few luxury nights in the fancy Polanco district, or look for a more budget-friendly option in the popular Zona Rosa.
