Neighborhood Nature / Park
Take a tranquil stroll under the shady poplars lining the marble paths of Alameda Central. A leafy refuge amid the bustle of downtown Mexico City, the park has provided citizens and visitors with a quiet, reflective space since 1592. The park faces the city's fine art museum, and is dotted with sculptures and fountains of both Mexican and European origin. Sit for a spell or amble around this green space that has become a symbol of a traditional Mexican park.
