(4.1/5 based on 440+ reviews on the web)
Take a tranquil stroll under the shady poplars lining the marble paths of Alameda Central. A leafy refuge amid the bustle of downtown Mexico City, the park has provided citizens and visitors with a quiet, reflective space since 1592. The park faces the city's fine art museum, and is dotted with sculptures and fountains of both Mexican and European origin. Sit for a spell or amble around this green space that has become a symbol of a traditional Mexican park. • This is called a "park" but for todays standards..this would be a "plaza", worth to visit....next to the fantastic Bellas Artes, Old buildings (now museums) and church...it's just lovely the whole are...  more »
  • Beautiful place to visit with the family or the couple. The Park several fountains, statues and a kiosk inside to take the photo. Have it well maintained and with proper maintenance. A station of subway (station Bellas Artes) located between it and the Palacio de Bellas Artes. Saturdays and Sundays evenings several jobs food corn, churros, clothes, are installed in the plaza of solidarity (the former stable to the opposite side of fine arts Mall) crepes, etc and there is music and dancing, in the style of a village fair, only that in the great city of Mexico.
