Alameda Central, Mexico City
(4.1/5 based on 400+ reviews on the web)
Take a tranquil stroll under the shady poplars lining the marble paths of Alameda Central. A leafy refuge amid the bustle of downtown Mexico City, the park has provided citizens and visitors with a quiet, reflective space since 1592. The park faces the city's fine art museum, and is dotted with sculptures and fountains of both Mexican and European origin. Sit for a spell or amble around this green space that has become a symbol of a traditional Mexican park. • If we are Mexicans and we have not been to the CDMX we get lost of appropriating purely native identity. You don't have to be malinchistas and let the beauty of our country as walking one afternoon on this site.

  • The hotel was a few blocks from the park. Saw a couple of protests, lots of people relaxing, A small part had many stands with food and many items to buy.
  • This Mall is very nice, nice photos can be taken, and is close to the Museum of fine arts, is a souvenir of the visit to Mexico CITY.
