  • We took a tour to Uxmal from Merida. There were 8 people in our bus and it was literally like we had the entire ruins to ourselves. We were able to climb almost all of the ruins and there was no one i...  more »

  • I liked it better than Chichen Itza, actually. Nice and spread out. They allow you to explore freely. Only the main pyramids are off limits and we cannot climb on them.
  • Love learning about the Mayans. This was a great excursion. Uxmal is one of my favorite ruins to visit
  • Gorgeous! It is just different to any other archeological place. In the middle of nowhere and very peaceful I truly recommend this place.
  • I have no other experiences to relate to, but this trip was great! I booked with Carnival Cruise Lines and it was a hot, stinky bus after, but I still loved it. Standing on top of the steps and looking out into the forest was a sight I'll never forget. Such a humbling experience. So much history...
  • Went here on our honeymoon last week with Carnival Cruise Ship. The very best of excursions I have ever been on. Wish we had more time. It was breath taking. Worth every penny. . We will be back. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the ruins. I highly recommend learning some history on it. I've posted a few pictures of our trip. Take water.. and cash .. they have refreshments in the entrance of the ruins but you will want to purchase souvenirs and they like American money. Everything is negotiable. . Enjoy.
