Paseo de Montejo, Merida
(4.5/5 based on 1,900+ reviews on the web)
Take a stroll down the pedestrianized main avenue of Paseo de Montejo, taking in the wonderful European-style architecture of the mansions, local street performers, and impressive artworks. The avenue makes a good spot for peaceful people-watching, or an afternoon amble with a tasty ice cream. Stop for a coffee and watch the daily activities, or peruse one of the museums on the strip. Bring some water and sunscreen along with you, as there isn’t much shade to be found on the avenue. Use our Merida holiday planner to arrange your visit to Paseo de Montejo and other attractions in Merida.

  • Is excellent for leave to walk by the afternoon, especially the area of the party American or in the auction.

  • AV. emblem of Merida, as two kilometers long, but you can park where there are only white stripe on the sidewalk instead of across the Avenue, this loaded with police seeking infracionarte for anything even if you're a tourist, CARE. In total there are only 10 buildings that are worthwhile, great nightlife, its monument star, EL ALTAR A LA PATRIA is horrendous scaffolding covered, because as they are remodeling it, I say as, because I was ten days and never I saw that they restore anything.
