  • Though not truly 'cliff diving' (They dive from a rock about 40 feet high) it is still an exciting, scary sight. The divers must time the ocean swells to have enough water (About 6 to 8 feet) so they ...  more »
  • There are far better things to see in Mazatlan than these folks who focus on securing tips and minimizing their supposed performance.  more »
  • This was an interesting stop on our tour of Mazatlan - a very busy area for tourists! Vendors for shopping and food and drinks. It feels like a little hustle for donations to get money for the divers,...  more »

  • You can see all the city from here, landscape is beautifull!
  • Lots of street vendors selling souvenirs and food. You can buy a pineapple full of fruit, cotton candy, bracelets, churros, etc. The sunset is wonderful at this point, and after nightfall there are people who jump into the ocean from the top of the tower. They have no set schedule, but they'll jump every day out of the year if there are enough visitors in the area to watch. Once you see them light the torches, go up to the tower. After a small crowd gathers, one of the jumpers gives a speech about how this is not funded by the government, and how they put their lives in danger for only small tips, without any form of health insurance. They pass a hat around for tips, and then one of them goes up and jumps. It's definitely something to see. They're very brave men doing this. Recently someone died due to the poor conditions for jumping and the harsh waves. It's amazing how some people make their living.
  • Really good to kill some time and have some fun with friends, and eat some "Ceviche de sierra"
  • Always amazing to see the show!
  • Nice vieww.
