Categories: Lighthouses, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.4/5 based on 360+ reviews on the web
Casting its light for 48 nautical km (30 mi), El Faro Lighthouse represents one of the highest operating lighthouses in the world. Situated at 157 m (515 ft), visitors commonly hike to the top of the hill to admire the view across the ocean and surrounding mainland landscapes. Grab a refreshment from the top of the summit after your walk. The lighthouse was built in 1879 on landmass that was once an island of its own. Once the bulb is switched on, witness its strength--equivalent to the light of 600,000 candles. • ideal for adolescents and adults, I recommend rise early before 11 or after 6 since it is hot, necesarioir with tennis and your bottle of water, as well as sunscreen, the views are impressive and lacaminata is perfect.

  • A hike is fairly fresh to the top of the mountain. The best view of the sea from so high and has some views of 360 degrees! From there up you can breathe the air more fresh and appreciate the fishing boats, old city part of Mazatlan, and gilded in the remote area. It is much better when they're accompanied I went with my partner in one of the first appointments we had the truth that did not feel very heavy the rise was worth is a unique experience to be able to upload to the natural Lighthouse more high around the world!

  • Great views, I do not remember that truck route is that wore, I think the Shad-Center something so, or taxi (pneumonia) but agrees the price with the seller before, it should not be 150 dollars. the climb is rather long, half is dirt ramp and half of paved steps, there are 3 shortcuts to not give so many curves, but eye 4 (counting from bottom to top) since it ends in the middle of the Hill and not on the road. It is approximately 1 hour of ascent and another downhill, upstairs there is a shop that sells water. Clothing comfortable and sunscreen is essential. If you want to know how to get do not ask the local viewpoint, because for them there is none, better question for the lighthouse.
