  • We loved our stay at El Cid- El Moro Beach. We went to celebrate the New Year 2018. It is a great hotel. The staff is friendly and the food is good. It is right on the beach and they have everything you need. There is dinner with nightly entertainment. They also have a small kid camp, my kids didn't want to participate in it. The also have several restaurants and bars on property. You can go to their other properties as well with their shuttle or a short walk. The room was great, we had a one bedroom with 2 bathrooms, one with a shower, the other with a tub. We had a view of the pool and some of the ocean. My kids absolutely loved this place. They have nice pools, the water was nice and warm. I definitely recommend this place, we would love to go back.
  • This was the first time we've stayed at the El Cid Moro and it won't be the last! Really liked the hotel and their staff. The rooms were very clean and quite large with lots of space. It was almost like a panoramic view of the land and ocean from the front room window and also the bedroom window. Watching the sunsets out our window were amazingly awesome. Shopping and restaurants all within walking distance from the hotel. So many activities at the pool and on the beach. We had a great time staying here. We where on the 23rd floor with ocean view, didn't have a balcony but the view made up the difference! Can't wait to go back.
  • Great they staff is friendly, they rooms are nice and clean. Plenty of tourists from U.S.A and Canada. I have only gotten one bad waiter who seemed more friendly with Americans than us Mexicans. All inclusive is good for getting the drinks other than that their buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner is ok. Dinner requires reservations at certain restaurants within the hotels. There is a daily show in The Pergola restaurant in the sister hotel which is connected that is pretty cool. Yes I would come back. Overall I liked the experience I got.
  • We had a wonderful vacation. Did not want to go back to the cold of MN. We enjoy our vacation time at El CID. When we filled out the comment sheet we forgot to mention a couple of names. All of the staff is really friendly and courteous. The food is always great. The accommodations are always clean. The entertainment is always good. We enjoy hanging out at the resort, on the beach or by the pools. The staff at the La Conchita are always on the ball. The servers are friendly especially Jorge, Juan Carlos, and Tomas. Rudy does a great job keeping an eye on things. The hostess at the Italian restaurant did a great job and was very friendly as well. There are a lot of staff and they take very good care of our needs. We enjoy going to El CID and running into some old friends and making new ones. Mazatlan is a wonderful city and we have enjoyed venturing out to see the sites. I have gotten to know many of the staff there. It’s just like going home when we are vacation there. We try all the restaurants because they are all great. Martin provides the entertainment at the Marina restaurant. He is great to listen to. He takes requests and that is always fun. There is a shuttle service between all El CID resorts. They are clean and safe. The drivers to a great job. The staff are quick with a handshakes or pat on the back. I try to let them know they do a great job. We all know a compliment goes a long ways. I hope this helps those who are considering a stay at EL CID. Happy days, have fun. A Happy Traveler
  • First, the staff were extremely friendly and made this hotel tolerable. Beds were super uncomfortable and the hotel is next to a loud dance club that starts up at 8:30pm every single night until 3am. It appears they only heat one pool on Saturdays so the pools are unusable during the winter months. The food was ok but nothing remarkable. Same breakfast every morning gets old and the lunch buffets were weird. If it wasn't for the friendly staff, I would have left early or found a different place to stay.
