Deer Island (Isla de Venados), Mazatlan
(3/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
Escape the nearby resorts and enjoy the unspoiled beaches on Deer Island (Isla de Venados). The calm waters in this ecological reserve make the island perfect for snorkeling, swimming, and kayaking. Numerous tour companies offer excursions from Mazatlan; if you prefer to explore on your own, you can rent a boat with a driver to take you to the island. You'll find little shade once there, so ask in advance about borrowing an umbrella. The food service on the island is limited to those on the tours (and some reports cite poor quality), so pack a cooler full of drinks and snacks to keep you going. Make Deer Island (Isla de Venados) a part of your Mazatlan vacation plans using our Mazatlan holiday planner.

  • Deer on its exceptional location opposite the port visit m port makes the island an attraction that can not miss ena. Accessibility can be by kayak, boat, catamaran, Sailboat or the famous "super duck" (amphibious vehicle). He is recommended to enjoy the beach, take a fresh coconut and take it to the top to finish with a view unparalleled in Mazatlan. Do not forget to keep the island as limpa as possible, since it is part and to the delight of all.

  • This island is reached in a boat, boat, yacht, etc. to be taken into the Navy. There are some people who offer shuttle service and others are private. The island is quiet with a very nice beach and a beautiful view of the port of Maazatlan. The water is very calm and very clean beach. On the island there is only an establishment that sells things so the best is to go prepared with drinks and food or snacks.

  • Excellent tour that departs from the El Cid Marina Beach, in the Kolonahe trimaran, super attentive guides, this beach can very well, rowing in kayak, snorkel or banana, food that includes this well. It is expensive, but definitely worthwhile.
