  • At the beginning we reserve a few beds in bedroom and when we arrived we discovered that our estava outside of camping, more I away from the beach, so I recommend review in which bedroom are going. But staff was very available y.profesional and we change with some very beautiful cabins and a bed in the bedroom in the campsite. The cabins are very cozy and romantic and close to a beautiful beach and the lighthouse. It was magnificent durmir alla! Also we haveto alla on the day of the arrival of Hurricane Franklin and personal alarm we stayed in a hotel for one night and were very organizadosy colonial. I absolutely recommend it and I hope to return!

  • To my opinion is a very nice place, but if it lacks much:- as cleaning restrooms, showers smelled piss dirty walls, toilets missing them what was the paper. -In two single showers came out hot water. They should clean up the bathroom in the morning and in the evening or afternoon. It is nice but what truth slope should check the details...

  • We attended a waiter's name Christian, excellent service, very good food, the baths are clean and in good condition in general, the cocktail bar is good, but, again, the service is the best.

  • Overpriced, a lot of mosquitos and others, construction waking you up at 7am... The bar is overpriced too compared to what you can find elsewhere. But the beach is nice
  • If you don't come you're missing out big time
  • I am a backpacker travelling by myself through Central America for 9 months (Bear this in mind as this is my review context). Firstly the positives: The location is amazing - the arguably have the nicest part of the beach and it is much quieter than in the main town. The dorm room was pretty good. No A/C but secure and fairly airy and bathrooms are very good and have hot water (if you wanted it!). The negatives: this place is not backpacker friendly, it's not a hostel, it just has one dorm room at the end of the strip of cabins. I was kept waiting for ages to check in and had to go out of my way to find them to pay. The impression I got was all they really care about is the cruise ships full of wealthy Americans who think that $5 for 2 beers in happy hour is a good price. The food and the drinks are way to expensive: If you stay here it is worth the 5 minute walk down the beach to the centre where you can cut your food bill in half and pay 28 pesos a beer instead of 40. Also at 250 pesos a night the down is a little overpriced without A/C. Having said all this there really aren't many good backpacker options here, so it may well still be your best option. Just eat and drink somewhere else!
  • Nice beach. Terribly slow service especially as things got busy. We had booked a package through a travel company (Shore excursions group) while our cruise ship was in port. As a part of this package the description included umbrellas, an "open bar", mexican snacks, and an authentic mexican dish. After we got there we learned that there were no umbrellas at the chairs, limited shade for the lounge chairs, the open bar did not include beer, the snack was chips salsa and bean dip, and the dish was nachos. The nachos were quite good but were more of an appetizer than anything. I am uncertain where the discrepancies happened if with the travel company, their local representatives or with the bar. The owner did her best to try to make up for the issues and we will be following up with the travel company at the end of our trip. My recommendation if you come in on a cruise ship, rather than buying a package, pay the $5 for a taxi and then buy a few drinks and in the end you will come out ahead. This is a nice bar if you know what to expect. The Pros: wonderful beach, charming bar, tasty nachos, fresh fruit in drinks The Cons: slow service at times, limited shade if you want to layout all day, cleanliness of things like the cooler that the ice is stored in is a little sketchy
  • Great place! Nice cabins the beach is incredible. Great attention, food drinks. Everything you need.
