  • For who likes nature, will be a experience tired, are more than 200 steps to lower, which are up, hahaha, but it is worth, the Grotto itself is a beautiful place and they are worth the tired, but don't worry, there are places to rest and admire the beauty of nature, it is convenient to go prepared to not wear shoes to be prone to slip , in some parts of the cave by the moisture the floor is very slippery and you can suffer a fall, although there are railings to seize, use, dry-time there is a special tour to go down to the river and rappelling, very good for fun, so take a change of clothes, I hope you enjoy it when they go.

  • If I want to leave few options offering ixtapan of salt. It is a good choice. Not very large but one does not repent, there is alternate tours in which you can learn other routes on fruits or even make snorkeling. Few dining options but if any (small restaurants). If you are close or you want to know some caves more large, are those of cacahuamilpa.

  • A very interesting place. It was worth the investment in lighting. They could exploit a bit more stories relating to the troops of the Mexican Revolution who are hiding in this place (according to the Guide) and educate visitors to the importance in the conservation of this place. The place could be better preserved on the outside but the interior is overall very nice.

  • Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 to 17 hrs. 15 min of Tonatico. Very good ride of less than 3 hours. You have to walk so much that applies comfortable shoes.

  • Good place to spend the weekend with the family, except if a member of the family uses a wheelchair, because although most of the caves have railings and is of easy access, to reach them you have to download a significant amount of steps, approximately 10 minutes from stairs, but are worth it.

  • Is amazing this place. Despite being smaller than the grutas de Cacahuamilpa, walking much. Is recommended get in truck own, in case of get in taxi, tell him that by please return in approximately 3-4 hours, depending on how much time is wants to be. (the tour is made in time and average if is goes fast). They are really only the caves, and there are activities by season where you explore the underground river.

  • A wonderful corner which has the State of Mexico. You will enjoy much the road that takes you to this site because that is visually pleasant. Get ready to lose a few hundred steps that take you to the entrance of the main cave, as well as other spaces with which the complex has. Tip: A time inside care with the stalactites, the mother nature is treacherous and go finish hit by it: P
