  • The stroll (forcibly guided since it can be dangerous enter only) by Star caves is the most fascinating thing in life, the place is a natural wonder full of shapes that seem to be "carved" by a sculptor. The tour lasts an hour, I do not recommend not enter with infants or toddlers since the furnace systems is very low, the surface is slippery and sometimes vision is not very good despite the installed lights. Guides meet any questions and are very friendly. It is a unique experience

  • Beautiful place. It is an incredible tour of about 1 hour, but they have to be in shape to walk, get off and walk up the stairs to the entrance is exhausting.

  • This fieldtrip to La Estrella caves, is very pleasant and Nice, since it is very near Ixtapan de la Sal. In car makes one a 25 minutes along a road narrow but full of vegetation and goes one on one side of the village of Tonatico who is also very nice. Arriving at the entrance of the caves, near the parking lot, this box office since there the people are very friendly and are offered as guides if you want to. It must be down a long flight of stairs to reach the caves and groups for travel within the caves are formed at the entrance. Caves are not very large but are very nice and the experience is very nice. The tour lasts between 30 to 40 minutes. The problem is the return to the parking lot and must have good physical condition to climb the long flight of stairs to the parking lot. However, despite the effort to climb back to the parking lot, this experience is highly recommended.

  • Super
  • Comfortable shoes are essential (quite a few stairs), hydration (the Grotto is not accessed with bottle in hand). Good view, friendly guides and some impressive caves. Shop at the entrance of the cave.

  • It is a beautiful place. They have greatly improved lighting. It offers very nice photo shots. It is a short route that is worth much. The only thing unbearable are more than 400 steps that are eternal return. A challenge for fitness. Access is economic.

  • The wonders of the Earth is very impressive. The place has descent staggered to the entrance of the grotto, a little tired will return if you are not used to exercise. The place does not have access to people with different abilities. The handicraft prices are very affordable. The forthcoming visit will make the tour of the underground river because I will be commenting on the experience.

  • Excellent place for walks, beautiful scenery at the time of entering the grotto, I recommend bringing bottled water because it gets very hot. It is in the town of Ixtapan de la Sal.
