Playa Linda, Ixtapa
(2.9/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web)
Particularly popular with Mexican families, the long stretch of sandy coastline at Playa Linda boasts areas of shade under tall coconut palms, clear water, and various amenities. In keeping with the look of the place, the beachside restaurants' thatched roofs add to the picture-perfect beach. If you're feeling adventurous, you can always book a banana boat or jet ski ride. An array of concession stalls sell snacks, souvenirs, and beach toys. Visitors have reported some unwanted crocodile sightings, so stay aware. Playa Linda is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our international travel planner, Zihuatanejo Edition.

  • Fun experience seeing the crocs, iguanas and other animals. Lots of shops to mill around in. Try some fresh coconut water!
  • public beach with a crafts market, but a little expensive, crocodiles in their natural habitat, the pier to visit ixtapa Island, charged 40 pesos round trip, bad many fishermen and vendors, the food in the restaurants too expensive very carefully with that
