Playa Linda, Ixtapa

(500+ reviews on the web)
Beach Nature / Park
Particularly popular with Mexican families, the long stretch of sandy coastline at Playa Linda boasts areas of shade under tall coconut palms, clear water, and various amenities. In keeping with the look of the place, the beachside restaurants' thatched roofs add to the picture-perfect beach. If you're feeling adventurous, you can always book a banana boat or jet ski ride. An array of concession stalls sell snacks, souvenirs, and beach toys. Visitors have reported some unwanted crocodile sightings, so stay aware. Playa Linda is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our international travel planner, Zihuatanejo Edition.

  • Nice sandy beach but depending on the season has a significant undertow.. Very unpopulated for the area except for some itinerant vagabonds and some relatively harmless surf bums*(not a pejorative)......  more »
