This is the best of the two golf courses to play in Ixtapa. The tee-off boxes are a little ratty but the rest of the golf course is really good  more »

The field is in excellent condition. After the the two in the afternoon charge you more inexpensive and you can go and play with your family and is great so that those who do not play well, can learn and live fabulous views which has the field. The best thing is to play "go go" and so they all together.

My wife and I enjoyed this course very much. If you are a senior be sure to take advantage of the senior rate. 18 holes of golf including cart cost 1000 pests. My wife doesn't golf and was able to ride along for 350 peso's. Found it easy to hook up with a couple other canadian golfers and had a great time. Greens and fairways were in good shape Fairly easy course but really enjoyed the elevation changes unlike some other Mexican courses that are flat, flat, flat. Hole 15 is very picturesque with the ocean and hitting over a creek with crocodiles in it. Don't see that in Canada. Only negative is they don't have a proper lounge for the 19th hole. Very nice course.

great Trent Jones track, course always suffers a litlle from lack of maintenance. but is fair and when dry ball rolls out well. Putting is greatly affected by the grain.

Played Many Years One of the most scenic layouts anywhere, I find all the holes to be interesting in their own ways except, regrettably, 9 and 18. The wildlife - gators, iguanas, birds, etc. always interesting. The staff at the course are wonderful, although many of our favorites have retired. Over the years, they closed the restaurant, then the bar, then the "pro shop." Busy during holiday season, but oddly deserted otherwise. We've played three rounds under three hours so far this year. The greens fees and arrangements for "packages" vary significantly from year to year. As a high handicapper, I find this course very playable and enjoyable. Will keep coming back.
