Scuba / Snorkeling
Admire art 8m (28 ft) below the water's surface at Musa Museo Subacuatico de Arte. The underwater museum, known locally as “MUSA”, was built in 2009 and is dedicated to attracting divers who would otherwise flock to the endangered Mesoamerican Reef. Exploring the underwater museum, you can marvel at more than 450 life-size statues, made from marine-grade cement that promotes coral growth. View the eerie statues, modelled on the residents of a nearby fishing village and depicting satirical scenes, or observe the Volkswagen piece that lobsters have made their home. • The best thing about the dive is the life growing on the sculptures. Some look like they have hair or Armour growing on them. It is really cool to watch it move in the surf. The Volkswagen was full of...  more »
  • I hired the tour with the kind of diving. The equipment was old and looked unsafe. The coaches were annoying during training. The price included a photograph that I never took. The Caribbean Sea looks sad and dirty with these sculptures strips at the bottom. It is not the best way to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean Sea.
