Captain Dulche's Museum, Isla Mujeres
(4.2/5 based on 400+ reviews on the web)
Learn the history of this island in the Mexican Caribbean at Captain Dulche's Museum, a maritime and local history museum dedicated to the founder of the island. Walk through the thoughtfully arranged museum, seeing naval tools and artifacts, scale models and photographs. Head to the projection rooms to watch video footage of divers Jacques Cousteau and Ramon Bravo exploring the marine environment surrounding the island. If inspired, pay a visit to the bar on a boat bobbing just offshore. Order the fish tacos and a cold beer, then take in the scenery from the comfort of the deck. • The museum itself is not so much popular, how many bar and equipped beach. Nice place for a small stop during exploration of the island.

  • This is a nice place to visit. There is a lot of history available and some very interesting art as well. Just remember to bring your mosiquito repellant.
