Inspirock Rating:
3.9/5 based on 380+ reviews on the web
Maguey Bay attracts tourists with its vivid local culture, unusual gastronomy, and calm clear waters at the far end of the beach where you can snorkel. Have a shot of mescal to work out an appetite, and then stroll along choosing cuisine from the busy seafood shacks here. The nearby Punta Maguey provides a good scuba diving site with tropical fish, walls, and caves. If you wish to spend the whole day hanging out with the locals, put up your own tent or simply mellow out on patio chairs while sipping a cold beer. Amenities include public showers and restrooms. • Expensive restaurants, they don't have any option for those who are vegetarian. However the beach is really nice, the sand is quite soft and the sea is calm.
