  • Beautiful beach with strong waves not recommended for small children or people who do not know to swim very well, though there are areas that are represented by wave action manages to find areas where less hit the waves, this beach was within our hotel which we facilitate your visit.

  • Lovely beach, clear stunning water, centrally located, and not chaotic with people like santa Cruz. It is also one of the blue flag beaches in our world ( eco-conscious & clean!!) . We loved coming he...  more »
  • This is the area were lots of Canadians live in hotels or in huge houses on the street called LaCanada. Nice area to enjoy the local living opposed to the resort, clean, good for shopping, safe.  more »

  • Gorgeous and fully public beach, with the buildings and hotels built well up the sand. If you're a fan of crazy waves for tumbling rather than surfing, this is the perfect beach for that! Strong yet tiny undertows on the west side of the beach will roll you around hilariously against your will in the shallow water, dragging you up and down the sand. Very safe, though, not a true undertow in sight. An active and alert lifeguard on duty during the day. The beach sand is dramatically arched, especially on the east side of the beach. This sand ridge is perfect for star gazing at night. The sand is golden and quite coarse - didn't get stuck too much to anything. The water is blue-green jello, super clear. There is also a beach club with a pool and restaurant - for a nominal day fee you can enjoy their deck chairs and other facilities. For 5 peso you can also use the public showers at the beach, get all cleaned up from the salt. But don't worry - every taxi in Huatulco rolls with a supply of towels to put on the seats under your wet bum. Even at the height of the season at Christmas, this beach is far from crowded, easily accessible, and very peaceful.
  • The waves and sandon the right side are really rough and the slope into the ocean of the sand had a steep drop. I would walk a long way to the left into a safer Bay. The food of the buffet was avg, but if you order from their menu is SOOOO MUCH BETTER!! They deliver it to your Beach chair as well. Tip them!
  • Nice beach. A little rough but good walking beach . Plenty of sea breeze. Beautiful surroundings.
  • Beautiful beach. Great for families.
  • Relatively small pool, but pleasant enough if you want an afternoon away from the beaches.
