Yalahau Lagoon, Holbox Island

(380+ reviews on the web)
Water Body
Swim in a cenote at Yalahau Lagoon, where you can actually observe water coming out of the ground to make the pool. The crystal-clear water only makes it easier to see straight to the bottom, or traverse the wooden walkway that surrounds the lagoon for views and photo opportunities. This site is only reachable by boat; try to visit in the morning when dolphins gather here to eat. Make Yalahau Lagoon part of your personalized Holbox Island itinerary using our Holbox Island itinerary planner.
