  • Hello Amg@s! Today we visited Mineral de Pozos, Guanajuato, and while not Querétaro, is very near, to only 1 hra road on the Queretaro-San Luis Potosi highway. It is a magical village which is between San José Iturbide and San Luis de La Paz, and is another access to the Sierra Gorda. This tour is ideal for families, I recommend it even with young children already walking. There are guides that take you to visit the mining haciendas hulls, talk you history, and take you to some of the mines (light when the rains fail)., also can make the trip on your own. The tour also take you to visit the lavender farm, and although now Lavender is beautiful, this same view is spectacular in the winter, full of scent and color. My children had much fun looking for stones and walking trails. There are many places to stay, so it's a good adventure.

  • In this village you can visit several pitheads: Centenario and San Rafael, very close to ruins of mining haciendas: Saint Brigid, 5 gentlemen, has excellent hotels and restaurants I would recommend the Escamoles and indispensable to stroll in the square and visit the Church of San Pablo.

  • A pueblo magico, which on the day is something desert but at night the almost ghost town is transformed into a place where to spend the night in bars, restaurants, good food and atmosphere
