Museo Exhacienda San Gabriel de Barrera, Guanajuato

(4.7/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web)
A luxurious 17th century colonial estate now open as a museum, Museo Exhacienda San Gabriel de Barrera demonstrates how the upper class lived years ago. The sunburned-orange exterior stands in contrast to the seven green courtyard gardens. The interior features lavish decoration with period furniture, paintings, tapestries, and traditional garments on display. Take time to view the chapel that houses an original 15th century Spanish gothic altarpiece of the Cathedral of Jaen. • It was the second time he visited the ranch, this time for my parents to meet her and they were amazed. Manicured gardens, to take some nice pictures. The luxury, the guide is very good! Furniture of time and story telling makes you travel back in time. Without a doubt, a must in Guanajuato!
