  • It is in very good condition. Although the night journey does not last long, it is good to learn a little of the culture of guadalajara. Not wear sandals or open shoes, there are animals that can bite.

  • I share that I realized the night tour, and had the expectation of hearing stories of ghosts, was not at all, travel highlights the architecture of the Pantheon, which is attractive, the explanation given by the guides is very complete and interesting, eye if they are legends but they are about 4 other interesting. Is well worth visit day to most admire the architecture.

  • Enjoyed listening to the history of the cemetery while on my night tour. You are not allowed to use your cell phone flash light because according to the guide it negatively affects the paint and structure of the building. You can use a regular handheld flashlight if you wish. The night time tours are busy and I presume that most people visit during that time because it's morbid and spooky. If you are more of a history and/or architecture buff then you are better off visiting during the day so you can truly appreciate your surroundings.
  • My visit was great. I learned that a notable American is buried along perhaps some free masons and some other foreign personages. Our guide let us know that that the buildings design incorporates mason's rules and traditions. For example the columns represent the marks on a mason's square. I especially liked the echo display at the corner of the building. Take one step forward and you hear the echo, take one step back and you don't. Very interesting and full of information. I cannot remember half of the hour and so tour. They have night tours as well where they dwell in more detail on the myths and stories about the people buried there. Too bad I did not have enough time for the night run. The only drawback is the museum is only slowly getting maintained. I only wish it would be in better repair. Good visit thought with a lot of interesting points. Don't forget to buy your tickets at the little window to the right of the main gate. They charge extra for the use of the camera inside. No flash is allowed to preserve the building and no touching of surfaces or wondering around. They stated they had to do that because some visitors painted graffiti while other broke things. Despite the restrictions the guide was great and you can wonder a little as long as you are near your main group. Ticket prices are very reasonable. My tour was all in Spanish.

  • Second time I visit the night tour. This time we went to the central mausoleum, loved! You need to visit day and I like the idea to do a shoot there.

Where to stay in Guadalajara

If you want proximity to historical attractions and convenient access to public transport, you'll be able to find something to suit any budget downtown, with the central thoroughfare of Avenida Juarez offering perhaps the widest range of options. Slightly southwest of the center, the neighborhood of Ciudad del Sol also offers a good selection of budget-friendly options, while in the southeast, Tlaquepaque--formerly a city in its own right--features some fancier hotels in a more relaxed setting.
