definitely a place that you must visit in guadalajara! These are the times to visit 10:00, 11:00, 13:00 and 14:00 hrs. !!! personally, I arrived at 2:30 pm! come to grate but still very friendly so managers let us enter! that we lost and gave him all the XD return to Apple! and surround it! the cost is very cheap to admire such beauty! is $24 dollars and $70 dollars with camera! but undoubtedly an architectural with antique beauty! very well preserved! and I especially loved the fluidity of people who are the guides to tell the legends! undoubtedly captivates you and gets you in the history of the characters! do not hesitate to go and visit it! and a favor there is a man who sells book of legend and film! do not hesitate to buy in their livelihood! in the tour could explain you the because their situation!

It is a highly recommended cultural tour, I chose the night tour 20:30 I think is the best schedules since we still achieve some light which makes it more scary, fall night during travel can be seen lighting the place, very good choice to visit, is for all ages, cultural tour.

I can't believe they charge to enter a cemetery! Also, their hours are very inconvenient and they have stopped the maintenance of this once beautiful cemetery. So sad and disappointing!  more »

My visit was great. I learned that a notable American is buried along perhaps some free masons and some other foreign personages. Our guide let us know that that the buildings design incorporates mason's rules and traditions. For example the columns represent the marks on a mason's square. I especially liked the echo display at the corner of the building. Take one step forward and you hear the echo, take one step back and you don't. Very interesting and full of information. I cannot remember half of the hour and so tour. They have night tours as well where they dwell in more detail on the myths and stories about the people buried there. Too bad I did not have enough time for the night run. The only drawback is the museum is only slowly getting maintained. I only wish it would be in better repair. Good visit thought with a lot of interesting points. Don't forget to buy your tickets at the little window to the right of the main gate. They charge extra for the use of the camera inside. No flash is allowed to preserve the building and no touching of surfaces or wondering around. They stated they had to do that because some visitors painted graffiti while other broke things. Despite the restrictions the guide was great and you can wonder a little as long as you are near your main group. Ticket prices are very reasonable. My tour was all in Spanish.

They make the effort to amuse those who stroll and take the tour. It's worth and is fun especially if they have never been or want to take someone to this visit in the city. PD is not scary so I should not fear rather is suspense

Where to stay in Guadalajara

If you want proximity to historical attractions and convenient access to public transport, you'll be able to find something to suit any budget downtown, with the central thoroughfare of Avenida Juarez offering perhaps the widest range of options. Slightly southwest of the center, the neighborhood of Ciudad del Sol also offers a good selection of budget-friendly options, while in the southeast, Tlaquepaque--formerly a city in its own right--features some fancier hotels in a more relaxed setting.
