La Bufadora, Ensenada

3.7
Observe the spectacular natural phenomenon of a blowhole at La Bufadora, as water shoots up to 30 m (100 ft) into the air. Caused by ocean water becoming trapped and then expelled from a marine cave at the bottom of the cliff, the a rare geological feature stands out as one of the largest blowholes in North America. Peruse the multitude of street stalls in the area, selling an array of trinkets, and consider timing your visit with high tide, as that's when the spout offers its most spectacular performances. Don’t forget to bringe change for the restrooms. Arrange to visit La Bufadora and other attractions in Ensenada using our Ensenada tour itinerary maker website .

  • The place is dirty, bad client, full of vendors for foreign tourists, the tour guides feel owners of the place. It is worth visiting it an once in a lifetime.

  • all you will say that you should visit this place and sicer as super so special is not, but enjoy the trajector to get there, is a viewpoint with a puff of sea water. Their legends have stuck whale and that premises. I think that they should visit and give their own experience. I don't love it, but okay to spend an average afternoon. Bring your camera to take lots of pictures, and a Sun hat.

  • is to us worth 55 kilometers of encenada, a beautiful place, where the waves of the sea when it hit the rocks, drives the water up, leaving a sight to see, the place filled with a little dirty trade, but the natural phenomena the, parking costs about three dollars. good condixiones road.

  • Beautiful, beautiful place to visit. The staff was awesome, and the grounds were so clean. We were happy to see the animals taken good care of, and the price was more than affordable.
  • Nice views: This was an excursion by Carnival cruise and we got transport there by bus. The marine geyser is good. The views of the surrounding ocean side are spectacular on a sunny day. Just watch out for all the vendors who will try to sell you stuff at an inflated tourist price. Returning back to the car park, there are restrooms and you have to pay to use them. It’s cheap and pays for cleaning.
  • This place is a wonderful creation by nature and care by friendly people if you travel by car avoid buying stuff not related to this location . If travel by sea you really have no choice .
  • Lots to see. I highly recommend getting the ahlmejas con camaron. They are clams with cheese shrimp and a good sauce!
  • Definitely a must see for Ensenada, but beware of the store vendors! This place definitely has tourist trap written all over it. My fiancé and I visited with my parents, and there was always a visible difference in the prices they gave my fiancé and I ( as we primarily speak English) and those they gave my parent ( Spanish speaking). One vendor tried to sell my fiancé a backpack for $50, but when my parents asked about it in Spanish it miraculously only cost $15. Cool place to visit, but I don't recommend making this your place to shop for souvenirs.
