  • I have visited this town for 30 years and it never ceases to amaze me. It has a wide mining history, a mixed between French elegance and mixed architecture of Mexican people. The Juárez Theatre is very well preserved. You can walk its streets and cobblestone alleys, all surrounded by pine trees and trees of temperate climate. There are several mines, tunnels and shots that you can visit. The brockman dam is few km away as well as the town of tlalpujahua. You can eat in the local market or a restaurant located in an old train car.

  • Gold has a history different from other nearby towns such as Tlalpujahua. The architecture is not as Baroque or classical because instead of a Catholic influence, had a more austere Anglican religious tradition. Therefore the architecture of City Hall is unique, an English neoclassical and Art Nouveau, with a beautiful mural outside. The Juárez theatre around the corner is also a beautiful early 20th century construction.

  • It is surprising to find a town with details so appealing, since it has a very elegant and well preserved theater, a variety of restaurants, several crafts shops and the typical part as its fixed market and semi-fixed positions with goods of the season series. Gold has a very original municipal Palace and an old railway station. Visit the gold having secured accommodation to explore its surroundings such as mines and tlalpujahua.
