  • We spent some time here on our outing. Love the animals and the 133 steps to the top are small but worth the climb absolutely breathtaking at the top! Higly recommend!
  • $14 usd to enter the Punta Sur park, to see the lighthouse and beach . We thought we would get to see more. The view from the lighthouse is amazing, the temporary beach was here ..as it comes and goes...  more »
  • This was a stop on a day tour- the 133 step climb is worth it It's a narrow, enclosed stairwell as one would expect in a lighthouse, getting through the narrow waist-high "door" is challenging if you ...  more »

  • This is a must see! If you're in Cozumel for a cruise, get a taxi and have them take you here. You can go to the lagoon, lighthouse and then towards the end of the road there is a great little restaurant on the beach! The taxi driver stayed with us the entire time (he stayed in the car), but only charged us a one-time fee per person. Well worth it!!!
  • This place is a treasure! I will never forget my day on Punta Sur!
  • Great beautiful place. It's a little expensive for what it is (about 250 pesos Nov 2015). However, it has some of the best beaches and views in Cozumel. If you're renting a car to drive to the lighthouse do yourself a favor and get an off-roader, jeep preferably. The road to the lighthouse and other areas is not paved and in some sections it's very rough. The journey from the main highway to the actual lighthouse is short but is far more enjoyable in a jeep.
  • We brought our own snorkeling gear, rented life jackets ($3usd), swam out to the reef...it was clear and beautiful! Gorgeous sandy beach! My children loved playing on the beach! One of my kids learned to snorkel! We had chairs, umbrellas, snack bar, etc all within a short walk. Husband and I had chicken and beef fajitas! Yum! Excellent day!
