  • He is a boy with four rooms but very well detailed and presented Museum. It is located a few meters from the ferry dock. The model with the sites of the island which can be marked with a Board is very good. It has dioramas showing animal and plant life in a mangrove swamp and a reef. You can learn about the formation of corals and reefs. There are archaeological objects as well as the reproduction of a House of the Maya and various arms of the sailors who arrived on the island. It is essential to visit the Museum to learn about the flora, fauna and history of Cozumel.

  • A very good museum, and rather overlooked. Not crowded, very informative, with excellent permanent and temporary exhibitions. Skip Margaritaville. Come here.
  • No much to see. But very nice museum.
  • A great little (air-conditioned) museum that tells you the history of Cozumel. All placards are in both Spanish and English. I think the entry fee was 4 dollars. On the 2nd floor it has a gift shop and a restaurant with a beautiful view of beach and bay.
  • Unique
  • Terrific coffee refill, delicious breakfast with the best view of the boardwalk in Cozumel, correct and friendly service, affordable prices, when I'm here I don't want to go!
