It can be reached from Comitan Dominguez, the road is several bumpy, so traffic is slow. There you pay an entry, there is a spa, where you can stay at tables to arest, there are two paths to the edge of the river and going up are seeing different jumps, until you reach the highest. The road is quiet, is done without give tale, viewing the beauties. We went in rainy season so the flow was incredible, although we didn't see them with color more clear and blue. There are two zip lines, of different routes, we arrived late to do so.

Without any doubt El Chiflón waterfalls are a point in your visit to Chiapas. It is a majestic waterfall and the sound of water chilling, ecotourism centre also has facilities (bathroom, food, zip-line - which I recommend enough-). It should pay attention to two entries that exist since it is important in concluding travel paths already on the one hand in the first entry (coming from Tuxtla there are several viewpoints but at the second entrance is the most famous to take the picture in the fall of water exactly). The tour lasts no more than 2 hours and you can decide if you want to hire a guide or not. The trail is well maintained as well as the viewpoints and the canopy. Excellent trip!
