Cenotes Tamcach-Ha & Choo-Ha, Coba
(4.7/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web)
Dive into the crystal blue waters of Cenotes Tamcach-Ha & Choo-Ha. Stalagmites decorate the cave walls of this natural underground swimming pool, twinkling in reflections from the water below. Once thought by the Maya people as gateways to the underworld, these caves make a memorable place to swim and snorkel, with a shallower cenote creating a perfect place for little ones to play. The rock formations in the larger cenote even provide you with diving boards of 5 m (16.4 ft) and 10 m (32.8 ft). The local community have maintained and protected the area; before you enter, use the showers to wash off any man-made chemicals so as not to contaminate this delicately balanced environment. Keep cash handy for the entrance fee. Cenotes Tamcach-Ha & Choo-Ha is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Coba Edition.

  • These cenotes are beautiful are only here in this place. The main attraction of the public and for me is called tankach has, because there you can throw you in a 10 meters height ramp, there is one of 5 meters. For the brave and want to lose fear of recommend them 10 meters height, good experiences.

  • Super recommended after climbing to coba. That a set of 3 cenotes and can purchase their tickets ara each at the tollbooth of the parking lot of coba. It is very easy to reach. Cost 55 USD. It's a bit touristy but groups tend to stay for short time. The dome is closed but as it is not very deep and thanks to the light you can see the bottom. There are two platforms to jump
