  • Thus this luhar already this suitable to literally be a park, cascade is nice but is small and is not very meaningful despite being part of the representative of the State icons place, already sell handicrafts to enciuentras in all monterrey, pappitas, water and some snacks, the recommendation is to go on tour since to arrive by bus, you spend a little more but you must tell them to trucks that go up for you, since it is rari that climb up to where is situated and there is that wait and time wasted the tours to here leave two markets in Monterrey and cost approx $160... spent $180 if you're on your own! and without so much anger! carry lenses and camera

  • It is a good Sunday activity. Knowing ponytail is fundamental to any foreign person in Nuevo Leon, although to tell the truth the impression that leave will much depend on the place of origin of the traveller. Personally, I didn't feel anything out and place with the waterfall, other States of the Republic have waterfalls that portray best landscapes to my taste. A detail that wasn't me so much is that he lost a bit of the natural part, since the road up is completely paved with railings, situation which does not happen in other waterfalls, since they let you live with nature among paths.

  • Worth knowing this place if you go to Nuevo León, the road to the waterfall is very nice and cleaned!. Along the way there are various activities to do!.

  • I could imagine that it's be much better nearing the sombre months but either way what a lovely place. I'd recommend the local photographer as he got a great photo of us at the waterfall (and it's really cheap!). There are vendors there for you to eat before or after. Thought the walk up (yes they're are stairs) you'll find a luscious scene amd benches to sit down amd enjoy the view.
  • Not very big, like the other mountains surrounding Monterrey, but for me the most beautiful one. The waterfall is simply stunning and offers a spot for amazing fotos. The only downside is that the locals set up many shops, to take advantage of tourists heading that way, one of them literally next to the waterfall, which takes away from the beauty.
  • This a beautiful nature spot. The temperature during a hot day, goes down in this place. It has a 800m walk by the river until you reach the cascada. Pretty pictures
  • Green place, peace and happiness. You may take a walk, enjoy the view and take some great photos. Some vendors and art crafts along the way.
  • La Cascada Cola de Caballo for me was definitely worth the trip from Monterrey. I was staying at the Fairfield Inn near the airport and to get here, go for lunch, and then get dropped off at El Paseo de Santa Lucía cost 1600 pesos (the hotel said 1500 pesos to just go to the waterfall and then return to the hotel, but the cabby had to wait for me to eat also, so 1600 pesos). The entrance fee for the park as of April, 2017 was 40 pesos. If your taxi driver accompanies you to take pictures of you, expect to pay for him as well. It's not a huge, roaring waterfall or anything like that. It's just a stream, really, but it's a beautiful sight in a very beautiful area. The pathway to get there was paved and all the safety precautions I normally don't see in Latin America were there (railings to prevent people from falling in). There's an option to get there by horse, but it'd be a very short ride (maybe 5 minutes), and really only for the lazy or for a photo opportunity. If you speak Spanish, the cabby will also make other suggestions of places that you can visit along the way. Chances are that he really wants you to see how beautiful Monterrey is because so many people come here for business and never take advantage of seeing the sights around town. So if you're visiting Monterrey, make sure you check this place out! You won't regret it, unless you don't like nature. ;)
