  • Museum too sad and abandoned. Touch screens do not work and it is really sad to see a Museum in such a State. So much wealth in this State.

  • The Mayan Museum has surprised us. There was not much going on and the staff was on the benches in front of the entrance. We earen single visitors. Somewhat dimly lit commits to the Museum on three levels and learn much new about the life of the Mayans. The interactive screens with the numbering system are particularly interesting (based on the number 20).

  • It is unique in its category, very few museums offer the experience as close to the Mayan culture as which can be found here... I recommend you take a camera and pay attention to every corner.

  • It always has art rooms. It has a "Educal" library inside
  • Something to do in the city. Decent exhibits, and lots to see as you walk around. It helps if you understand Spanish. The best thing about it is the air conditioning.
  • It's a great place, this very clean, facilities are beautiful, there are workshops, art galleries, a library with hundreds of titles and much more! It is worth going for a ride! Recommended 100%

  • Excellent atmosphere and way of show topics. All around a great ceiba, so which is it the Mayan culture. Their demos of the various pyramids and their representative styles are very good, as well as the way of presenting the calendars and writing. Very good reason to visit Chetumal.
