  • It is a magical town away from the hustle and bustle. It is old and attracts the mysterious that may turn out to be, especially at night. It is safe, I had no accident the weekend. The restaurants are cheap and rich. There is a tunnel that you must pass and charge you per car $30 people who help since it is one-way. You can park on the street but it is difficult sometimes to find a place because they are very narrow. There is a quisco in the Center and around you can buy a michelada or some whim. Also says that you can consume peyote, there are people who gives it to you and take you to the mount to consume. According to local people, it is safe. I didn't do it. There are water hot spring that now I could not visit because I arrived at night but they are in the next village if you're the road from Matehuala to Real de catorce you'd have to go straight. The village is called San Juan de Vanegas

  • Business Mexico you can not miss this magical town, Real de Catorce was a mining town founded in 1778 when the larger silver veins are discovered, in the village you will find a huge amount of sweets which are made there or in nearby villages, making the tour to the ghost town is a must, I did it and it is simply spectacular horseback riding, lasted for about 2 hours, the rise if it is very steep, you can opt to walk to take many photos because from here the landscape is wonderful, you can see the people, ruins where they were the Bay stores, if you decide to take the tour ask for don Gonzalo, very good person and knows the story. No matter how much you have to travel, Real de Catorce will not disappoint you.

  • It is a quiet and nice place with safety at night. There are nightclubs, restaurants the Church is very well maintained. Cajeta is delicious, a little difficult walking through the streets by Rocky, the ghost town, cemetery, all this really cool. We will return soon

  • The imposing church is going to meet almost two hundred years to stand, attesting to the population. Built by the Spaniards in their aftermath of Cologne, they adopted one of the most popular in the mining industry, the Immaculate Conception; virgins thing rare that has remained until our times, since the Holy revered, and that is identifies with the people, is San Francisco of Assisi, and in the last one hundred years, has been to which more thanks them has awarded.
