Playa Delfines, Cancun

(3,800+ reviews on the web)
Beach
Escape the tourist crowds by visiting Playa Delfines, one of Cancun's few uncrowded beaches. With slightly rougher sand and choppier water than some of the other spots nearby, this stretch of coastline compensates for a lack of modern amenities with fine views and a peaceful atmosphere. Ideal for those tired of throngs of vacationers, this little getaway also offers public parking--another rare plus. All that said, you do need to be mindful of riptides and heavy currents if you decide to swim here, so check the signs for the current conditions. Put Playa Delfines into our Cancun tour planner to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Cancun.

  • It meets the 3 B. good, nice and cheap. A place you must definitely visit when you go to Cancun! A quiet place where you can enjoy the white sand, turquoise waves and the fresh air. Fun and relaxing at the same time.

  • As soon as you arrive at this beach you realise why it is the most popular beach in Cancun and the best one! The view on the Caribbean is outstanding, not to mention the vast territory of the beach which allows you to enjoy the silence and the sounds of the waves at any time of the day.
  • It's beautiful from all aspects! The sunset is breathtaking.also available is drone video in HD.. #SKYSELFIE CLUB. COOLEST THING EVER!! IT'S A MUST DO, while your here.
  • Clean and well maintained public beach. Not many food options so pack a lunch.
  • Absolutely Awesome! The staff, shower, room, bed, restaurants, amenities, beach are equally incredible. You will not be disappointed in this resort and staff.
  • Beautiful beach! Not for casual swimming though, at least while we were there (in the winter) the waves were quite strong. Swimming was only permitted on a 50-meter stretch of beach, with red flags everywhere else. We saw lifeguards save three people who got dragged out to sea for swimming in the red zones — one left in an ambulance… Super easy to get to by bus. Swimming was really fun! Staff at the beach was very helpful. My wife cut her toe on a rock and had it promptly dressed by the first aider, who even gave us extra bandages. We went twice while we were in Cancún. Umbrellas, (outdoor, rinsing) showers, and washrooms are free.
