  • Despite the close proximity of the people scattered. The location seemed, taking time out and visit. "Haniwa" characters at the time, Japan will be intrigued to idols like. Might as well watch, before we went to after visiting the site.

  • Museo Maya de Cancun should be visited by anyone interested in learning about the Mayans and their history and should be a pre-requisite before visiting any ruin site as it helps shed light and bring context to the Yucatan. This place has a collection of fascinating artifacts and does a magnificent job of explaining the history behind this ancient civilization. Pictures coming soon.
  • Good place to go in the middle of the day. They have Air Conditioning! The grounds are ok, but you want to see those early in the morning before it gets hot.
  • Great collection in modern setting with good natural light. Pairs well with a trip to Maya ruins for lots of knowledge and context.
  • Some few pieces in the museum but very representatives of the Mayan culture. The pieces were collected from different Mayan sites Tulum, Palenque, Chichen Itza, etc. Please more conservation work for the site.
  • The biggest problem is that there is no English descriptions here. They do not speak English.
