It is a space with muuuuuitas local craft shops, everything you will find souvenir there just be patient to walk and learn to negotiate to get a good price. I was crazy about a doll of Mexican skull and found one for 2,200 pesos after a little thought for 800 and negotiating managed by 500. I was so happy lol Oh is also quite easy to reach if you have hosted in the hotel area has bus that leaves there (in the Centre) and only costs 12 pesos.

Local market in Cancun. A lot of souvenirs and authentic Mexican made goods. There are multiple places to eat, but be wary, if you are a foreign tourist they will hunt you down. Every shop owner will hoot and holler at you to come see what they have... Gets pretty old after a while especially if you are not accustomed to that. If you see something you like, you can most likely get it for half of what they ask, if not walk away and try another shop, they all have similar items and want to make a sell. It's worth checking out for an hour or two, any more and you'll lose your mind... For that 3 stars.

Best flea market ever. Everyone is willing to give you a deal. Got a nice wedding band for a good price and some extra good service. Mercado 28 has Everything... Meaning everything.

It's a fun place to shop and spend the day walking around shopping, eating, and drinking and enjoying all that the market has to offer. Everyone sells the same things, though, and they heavely compete with each other for sales. It's a little uncomfortable having all the merchants coming at you at once as you browse around the marketplace, and they compete and haggle for your dollars, but you can get some pretty good deals there. One of my favorite foods was the homemade popsicles. They were great, and there was a lot of varieties to choose from. I ate at on of the restaurants there, and the food and the service was really good.

A good market lots of options. Unfortunately full of hard sellers who made us want to leave earlier as it got too much. I wish they would just say welcome and then leave us to browse on our own as the forceful ones just made us want to leave. They try with very high prices but there are a few that have reasonable honest prices.

A great place to buy handcrafts and souvenirs. Dont confuse it with "plaza 28" its a copy but more expensive. Get to market 28! Youll love it. There are several restaurants, delicious and super cheap!
