Peruse the shops at Mercado 28, a traditional-type Mexican market that visitors use to hunt for souvenirs and knick-knacks. Take advantage of the area's outdoor restaurants and coffee shops to participate in the bustling local atmosphere. If you find something you like, don't be afraid to barter for a price you are comfortable with. Keep in mind that most of the shops do not accept credit or debit card transactions, however, there are many banks and ATMs in the surrounding area. My review is really a ZERO but the lowest score I could give was a one. Garbage jewelry that they pass off as gems - they aren’t! Pieces are glass that fall apart within weeks. If you go there...

Nice place to check out and eat and mingle with locals. The vendors are very pushy and constantly ask you to see their stuff. They mainly have the same products. The food court in the middle is cheap and tasty and there is always live music.

This market has something for everyone. We shopped and ate here and were exhausted by the end of it! I’ve been to Mexico before so I knew what to expect with the vendors. They all want you to look at their stuff and you just have to be firm and also know you can just walk away if you don’t like a price. Remember, some prices are completely reasonable for what you’re buying. But, you are more than welcome to bargain! I bought a ring they originally told me was $70 and I walked out paying $20. Maybe they thought I was a crazy tourist and Way overpaid even at $20, but it was worth it to me. Be willing to walk away. 9 times out of 10 they’ll chase you and keep lowering the price ( especially for higher ticket items) Also, there are several money exchange counters located here, as well as restaurants.

Is a little Market where you can buy souvenirs at a better price because is not in the tourist area. There are also some restaurants like El Cejas where you can have any type of sea food while you listen this guy's playing a Marimba.

Nice place, take your time to go around don't let vendors to push u around. Specifically don't go in jewelery stores. They will trick you in buying something. They started with $400 price by the time we are going trough door, price came down to $80. You can get there by bus, just ask someone to tell you where is station to mercado 28. On return, bus station is front of Walmart and R2 bus

It is pretty cool place to visit. Pricing can be negotiated but it is a little higher than Maercado 23. It is very safe and not really crowded today 02-11-2022 when I was here. Everyone that visit Cancun should come and visit this place.
