Captain Hook Cancun Reviews
Definitely a party from beginning to end. Staff work so hard to keep you entertained from before you board the ship until it’s time to leave. Maybe a little longer then it needs to be. Our older... more »
Nice Show. Nice Crew. Nice meal. Not for kids with less than 4 yo in my opinion. If you dont like loud music and people yelling, don't go. more »
Charlie is the absolute hands down best waiter / pirate they got. We have had him a few years in a row. The dinner and the show is a lot of fun for the whole family. I definitely recommend it. The... more »
This was one of the best dinner boat rides I've ever attended. The staff was beyond interactive. It gave an enjoyable experience with Capt. Jack and his shipmates. The battle between the two pirate ships was fun...and keep you on edge. The food and drinks were also amazing. The most tender steak I've ever had and drinks made to perfection. Made my trip to Cancun well worth it!
Captain Hook is so much fun! My friend and I had so much fun at the show. The food is great, the drinks (open bar) are very tasty, and the service is excellent! There were multiple families on the boat that seemed to be having a good time, though I can personally say it was a great show and a great atmosphere from the adult perspective. If you're thinking about it, book it!
Great place great atmosphere. If you are looking at this then you already know what this show is about: Pirates. Finding the place is easy and the crew is very entertaining. If you want the best seats be sure to arrive early unless you are purchasing VIP seating. The majority of people will need to sit in semi comfortable chairs while the first people will tables. Be prepared to be standing for a good portion of the trip. The show will begin with everybody sitting down. This show will require attendance participation so be aware you may be chosen to participate. After a while they will have groups of the audience stand up to go get their food, and eat which is great as you don't have everybody getting up at the same time to get their food. I had the lobster and steak and it was delicious no complaints here. After the meal they will remove all the chairs, and have a pirate show which is very entertaining. After the show they will have a dance session where they will have the everybody get up, and have a good time. Once the ship docks be prepared to have everybody rush to get off I would suggest relaxing in the back.
Very fun experience, my 6 year old had a blast! Very energetic with upbeat music who will have you dancing through out the night and a pirate fight at the end. Food was great and crew was entertaining. The only negative part to which i gave a 4 star instead of 5 is you are cramped in to the middle section of the ship with no ocean view unless you buy an expensive liquor bottle to get access to VIP. I did go with a few elderly who did not enjoy the trip as much. Grandma was in wheel chair and restroom was located down some stairs.
Don’t do it if you don’t care for pirates. Even then I don’t recommend. They crowd too many people in the ship. They have very few seats with a small table and backrest, if you’re toward the end of the line to enter be prepared to sit on stools crowded together. They try to keep you in the middle part of the ship unless you pay for a bottle of alcohol to get vip upstairs and the cheapest bottle is about $50. If you do get vip, you are prioritized with food, drinks and service. There’s hardly any ocean view. They insist on knowing where you are coming from. If you don’t want to take the welcome picture they give you attitude and shove you to the side. They literally give a show the whole time, they don’t just put music and let you enjoy. The only good thing about it, is the food! I enjoyed the food.
