  • I think of all the bastions and forts boasts campeche this is the primary and which has greater distance to travel and things to do, both on the day as Museum at night with the pageant that occurs. Take your time to enter all the rooms all have something to appreciate further.

  • Not would recommend doing this. The show is frankly depressing. The "actors" seem rather to local workers who were told that they would have to act as pirates. The lights are managed by hand by a person. The end is a crappy a super video projection on the wall of the bastion (!). What is that? It seems that any official amateur nephew did it. Is incredible that does not invest in something that should be an attraction tourism.

  • We had a guided tour through the history of Campeche and in the sea gate witnessed a representation about the arrival of pirates to the city. You soaked you for a unique and enriching experience.

  • Excellent historic fort. You can walk along the ramparts and check out the views of the old town. The small museum area is all in spanish, but so is almost everything in Mexico. Well worth checking out if you are in the area and are interested even slightly in pirates.
  • Historical placr with so much culture about pirates and prehispanic history
  • Historical and forced place of the city of Campeche and the peninsula of Yucatán. All products carried by Europe to the province Yucatec were distributed by this place. If fine architecture defensive military make it unique in the peninsular region.
