  • Is a place very father, mainly by the frieze; However, mosquitoes eat you terribly; I was only there 1 hour and I sting much more than in Calakmul. I advise repellent and cream.

  • We were in this Mayan ruins following the visit to Palenque. Both are of course difficult to compare, but Balamku has its charm due to its secluded location and a few visitors! The buildings are beautiful and provide a great photo backdrop. On the way from Palenque - Chetumal you can plan this trip well!

  • Within two kilometres of the road Xpuhil Escárcega is a small archaeological site with a dozen of ruins in the jungle. However, this modest site contains an admirable mural of more than 10 meters long and 3 meters high whose colors are not totally altered. Very easy to access and well laid out this site worth a visit.
