Snorkel on Santa Maria Beach a horseshoe-shaped stretch of sand nestled between cactus-covered cliffs. A protected area, the secluded beach is a haven for marine life, so bring snorkelling gear to explore the calm, clear waters filled with tropical fish. Lounge on the soft golden sand, sunbathe, or swim in the sea. The beach is relatively remote and offers little shade, so bring plenty of food and water, as well as a beach umbrella. • We have been to Santa Maria Beach 3 times now. Vibe: Laid back, chill Access: Closer to Cabo San Lucas than Chileno, but not as good IMHO Would I go again: Yes if showing people around town Santa....  more

  • Wow, looks like it was once a beautiful beach! Now just a resort surrounded by lots of construction noise and way too much boat traffic. I’d recommend going elsewhere. This place just sucks!

  • Lovely beach area to spend a nice time in. One of the few coastal beaches in the area that can be used for swimming. The small bay was very clean when we went to visit. It wasn't crowded and maintained a reasonable exchange of visitors during our time there.
  • went there for calmer beach but waves were 6 ft high. Beach was all pebbles hard on the feet. Great location and scenery. Could not swim.
  • The water was beautiful and clean. Monday was a quiet day to enjoy the beach distanced from other families.
  • Not crowded. Short walk from the parking lot. What a lovely place.
  • Snorkeling at Santa Maria Beach was the best we've snorkel there twice and wouldn't hesitate to come back again much better than any other place we've been and boy have we've been to a lot of beaches to snorkel!!
