Playa del Amor, Cabo San Lucas

4.4
Beach · Nature / Park
Visit the visually arresting Playa del Amor, and gaze upon its otherworldly rock formations, rising formidably from their golden sands. You’ll have to take a boat ride to get to the beach, which is made more remote by the massive geological growths surrounding it. Explore the caves of the rock faces and admire their bizarre, almost melting appearance. Be sure to bring everything you’ll require, like snacks and water, as the beach offers no amenities save for a sole vendor selling beer and chips. For Playa del Amor and beyond, use our Cabo San Lucas road trip planning website to get the most from your Cabo San Lucas vacation.

  • Get here! Dont be a fool and try to beat the surf enjoy the solitude.
  • The most amazing place in the world I have ever been! This place has everything! The best bars! Beeches! Stories! Paradise! Honestly can’t wait to go back here again! I would highly recommend visiting Cabo!
  • Stunning. Nature all around. Very relaxing and great for snorkeling. You need to get water taxi to get there. I paid $10 for round trip. Dont take too much stuff with you, there's no facilities around. But it's so worth it! Cabo is one of my favorite places in the world
  • We hiked in over Mt. Solmar and had the entire gorgeous beach to ourselves....what an incredible experience.
  • Worth the water taxi over. Way more peaceful than medena. Divorce beach side is better for peace and quiet
