  • This is one of the places that you want everyone to see but at the same time want to keep it a secret. Be at the gate across from the Navel entrance at the marina by 9:30 am and Enrique will let you in. He locks the gate after everyone is in so it’s a one time shot. He personally takes you to the top of the mountain at no charge. Tip only at the end. The climb is tough. Hand over hand at times with sheer cliffs at the top. Shoes are a must but it’s all worth it.
  • Did this hike 1 year ago. You can no longer cut through Enrique's property and do the hike unguided. He offers a guided hike for $ from 9:30am-5pm. If you have any mobility issues or reduced fitness this is the way to go. However, if you are looking for an adventure you can continue walking along the sidewalk towards the beach and hike/scramble up the mountain. Essentially you follow along the private property fence line and take the long way around. We elected to take a water taxi back from Lover's beach as this version of the hike was a bit much for everyone in the group. If you suffer from a fear of heights, this is not the best route for you. It took about 1-1.5 hrs to get to the top and down to Lovers beach. It was quite a bit further than the other route, but a much more invigorating hike!
  • Paid the guy at the dog park and made the hike over to the beach. Well worth the climb up but a little difficult down the back side. This hike is not for the novice. The views from the top are breathtaking.
  • Great hike and great view. Start at dog asylum after Marine base. Since fall 2018 door is closed. Only guided hike. One tour at 9.30 am. During high season in december another tour in the afternoon. Quite steep. Good shoes and good weather recommended.
  • Great place, If you cant walk a lot of distance i dont recommend it.
