  • This was so fun! We had about 70 people on our group. The guide only goes up once per day (8am right now) but that means you hike in the shade and the snakes aren't coming out onto the trail yet...

  • My wife and I went on the hike with dog whisper and of course all of his dogs :) It was a wonderful way to learn about the history of Cabo and all the people that had lived there a long time ago. It was wild hearing about how the harmonic frequencies affect the land formation from the way the water is on both sides of the point. It isn't an easy hike at all, but there is great reward for those who work for it!
  • It’s a short hike (2-3miles), but it’s not a easy hike. The entrance is located in this dog trainer’s private property. He acts as a tour guide while walking the dogs on the mountain. I was a little afraid of big dogs, but the dogs didn’t bother me much. No payment is required but tips are expected.
  • What an adventure! I thought the way up was something until the route down! I would have to agree with another reviewer when they said that this was more of "rock climbing more than a hike" Indeed it was! But it was quite well worth the rock climbing adventure! All while getting history of the Cabo area while on the way up. The views and the air at the top were absolutely breathtaking, literally! The pictures do no justice. The dogs🐕were a plus, they assisted many of us, but we all encourage each other both ways. It was a great workout and beatiutful 🏞 scenes all in one! I'm so glad that I followed through with going on these adventures. My friends bailed on me, but I'm glad I continued my adventure⛰️ This area was very close to the downtown area as I was here just a short time ago and hate I missed this gem then, but glad I didn't this time around. This is private property so make sure you plan accordingly and make sure you tip your guide on the way out🤗 #mysolmar #loscabo #cabosanlucas #dogtraingcamp #privateproperty #notfortheweak #nottourguideassited #pelicanrock #hurricanpath 💯
  • I am beyond thrilled that I had the opportunity to hike Mt. Solmar during our stay in Cabo. Be sure to make time for the hike. You have to go through Enriques dog camp and what a wonderful guide he is! Truly an experience that connects you back to what matters most. And let's not forget those views once you get to the top! Not to strenuous, very doable for anyone in semi good shape. Be sure to check it out, you will not be disappointed!
  • It was an experience. Not for the faint of heart. I'm not sure what was going on in the dog energy the day we went but there were some very bad attitude dogs. There was probably a total of 4 dogs fights which resulted in one dog getting a pretty big gash to their side. There were some children (and adults) who were moderately traumatized by said dog fights. I loved the hike, I love dogs, not the fights. Although the guide seemed concerned about the injured dog my one concern would be if you don't have control over your dogs maybe don't mix 40+ random tourists with 20+ uncontrollable dogs and scramble up a mountain. I really hope that the pupper is okay and this was a one off.
