Watch as the waves crash against El Arco de Cabo San Lucas (Lands End), an arched rock formation at the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California Peninsula. Created by erosion over millennia, the distinctive rock formation serves as a meeting point for local sea lion colonies; keep your eyes peeled for the large creatures as you admire the rocks. Don't be tempted to go in the water--strong currents and rocky surroundings make the area unsuitable for swimming. You can access the beach near the rock formation by water taxi from the nearby city. • my wife and i have been by there twice by boat this year. seems like any boat ride you take you go by there. it's an arch, they say lands end separates the sea of cortez from the pacific ocean.
  • The Arco de Cabo San Lucas is one of the most photographed places in Mexico. Located in the sea of Cortez, where the whales come each year to mate. A magical place that you should visit.
