  • It is a trip in rowboat (will do a little bit of cardio), the cost of the boat is $1200 Mexican pesos and enter 10 people or pay 120 by one collective. The waterfall is beautiful and the river blue is amazing. The tour lasts approximately 3 hours.

  • My spouse and I went to the waterfalls on our own, enjoyed the trip, as we were not in the Group hope to meet people to divide the cost of the boat, at most 20 minutes. After everything was fun and the wonderful landscapes, much exercise rowing 4 km but it was worth it and sincerely as all pull even was not so much wear and tear. Beautiful place, port location excellent morena. Highly recommended, definitely a must-see if these in the huasteca Potosina.

  • Absolutely beautiful boat trip up the river to see the waterfall. When we arrived we learned that there was NO waterfall due to farmers using all the water for irrigation. Even with no waterfall the trip was worth it. We stopped to see a celote (cave with water). We also were able to float down the river behind the boat. Had lots of fun when we passed other boats on the water. It was not expensive. We were a group of three and we had a smaller canoe to ourselves with 2 guides. One of the guides spoke some English. Highly recommend this place!!!!
  • Amazing a must go place for all the family, you can enter either hiking or by rowing boat! Highly recommend by rowing
  • Loved it by far a beautiful experience and a must live experience.
  • At the village La Morena you have to pay a small admission to drive down to the river Tampaon where you embark into a lancha with a lanchero in order to paddle upstream to the point where you can see the cascada de Tamul. They charge per boat so if you are only a couple it might be a good idea to wait for other people in order to share the price and make the paddling a little easier. During December the river was relatively low and the current not too strong. The color of the river was very beautiful turquoise. After about an hour you can see the waterfall from a couple hundred meters distance. It's quite impressive. Downstream the lanchero let us swim through the rapid water (with the life vest). Then he dropped us off at the cave which has deep blue water and where you can swim as well. The whole trip is extremely nice and it's worth the pot holes on the way to get to the town.
  • Very nice waterfall and water color
