We took a short 45 minute tour the lagoon and mangroves. The visit worth and is a very nice place. We saw several species of birds, crabs, flowers Lily among others. The only downside was that the boatman did not respect the price we had agreed 250 pesos for the ride and told us that the price was per person. This experience left me with bad taste in the mouth.

I went directly to the restaurant of Beto Godoy pointed out in maps was very pleased, ate fish size for 2 persons (600 g approx.) half carafe of orange juice and 3 cheese quesadillas and it was like $380 pesos, highly recommended, very rich at the end of there himself, I was offered a ride on the lagoon's three-masted boat, must make this tour It is highly recommended, the best experience, birds, landscape, the boatman took us is known as Pancho, ask for it, he is very friendly, fair, gives good price and gave us a spectacular tour. You must simply visit this place and bring a good camera because you can get spectacular photos. I recommend you take repellent of mosquitoes and short because to reach the Lake you can go in the water already is at the height of the knees, at the bottom there is mud that you can get as a mask, it is a very safe place, there are no noxious fauna. I recommend that you arrive at the restaurant 5 and when finish eating as a 6, you start your boat trip because you will have a beautiful sunset and the best photos and nice weather, this applies in summer time for example in July you pay in total between food, walk and tip between $400 to $500 pesos per person , but believe me it is all worth.

Where to stay in Acapulco

Acapulco offers accommodations catering to travelers at extreme ends of the financial scale. Pricey but luxurious beach resorts fringe the city's wineglass-curved bay and fan out to the surrounding coastline, while a dense block of high-rise holiday apartments and hotels dominates Acapulco Dorado. Among the ritzy options, you can find a wide range of inexpensive beach bungalows and hostels catering to younger, party-focused visitors. Stay a bit farther away from the center at the rocky outcrop of Las Playas to enjoy views over Acapulco's famous cliffs.
