Barra Vieja Beach, Acapulco

(4/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web)
Sunbathe and indulge in fresh seafood along Barra Vieja Beach. The beach is a long stretch of uncrowded warm sand, with beachside restaurants along the shore. Swim in the bright blue, clear waters or go horseback riding, a popular activity along this beach. Admire the Tres Palos Lagoon and the Acapulco sea. Don’t leave without trying the local specialty, Pescado a la Talla, a whole fish marinated in spices and grilled over hot coals. • Anytime you can walk along the beach, it is not advisable or suitable for swimming but if half of the body can get to cool off. It is a secluded beach in sections and there is almost no vendors, in general it is very clean.

  • Excellent place to rest and to observe the open sea, away from the noise, bars, and traffic in the area diamond, restaurants are rustic, the palapas are modest, but the warmth of the locals and owners serving you is amazing, if you visit this site you must try the red snapper to size and traditional whiting then relax in a lounge chair that you rent for a minimum amount for all day while you appreciate the sea and its sound relaxing. Close there can request a walk to discover the lagoon "three poles" a lagoon with huge mangroves and typical birds of the region such as the Heron Penguin, if you're lucky you'll see some crabs and turtles. You can bring your cooler and some snacks. The tour lasts about 1 to 1.5 hrs
