The Bay from the scenic highway is spectacular. The bad thing is that when one reaches the street where locals are, it is literally hit by people who invite you to their restaurants, which are very rustic but also ugly. (Eye, rustic restaurants are very clean and well presented). I was in one called La Violeta. Bad food and face. The truly awful bathroom. What I liked the least is that once we finished eating, we were offered grudgingly water to clean the feet of sand we had (anything elsewhere they do with gusto, some even have designed dairy farms with gourds precisely for that). Excess of street vendors pushing so you buy their products. The dirty beach. The village very ugly and careless. It is a real shame!

On your vacation to Acapulco, highly recommend not miss this beach Puerto Marqués, around Central magnificent of the Bay there are restaurants for all tastes and budgets, local cuisine, prepared by its inhabitants, acoustic attractions, walks on a yacht or boat, fishing, banana, motosky, a place to enjoy a whole day full, without missing beautiful sunsets, a sunset to remember forever. I recommend it

Beach is still one of the places most beautiful Acapulco, unfortunately the offer gastronomy of the place generally is not very good and has high cost which is not offset by poor quality. Sadly I have to comment that they have no hygiene in the vicinity of the beach in all the streets of the port there is too much garbage and this detract from the place, I think that both merchants and inhabitants and Government must take action to beautify their surroundings and collect garbage.

Where to stay in Acapulco

Acapulco offers accommodations catering to travelers at extreme ends of the financial scale. Pricey but luxurious beach resorts fringe the city's wineglass-curved bay and fan out to the surrounding coastline, while a dense block of high-rise holiday apartments and hotels dominates Acapulco Dorado. Among the ritzy options, you can find a wide range of inexpensive beach bungalows and hostels catering to younger, party-focused visitors. Stay a bit farther away from the center at the rocky outcrop of Las Playas to enjoy views over Acapulco's famous cliffs.
