Grand Baie Beach, Riviere du Rempart
(2.4/5 based on 55 reviews on the web)
With the town's main street as its backdrop and a bay full of docked fishing boats, Grand Baie Beach makes for a scenic stroll. Along the way, you'll take in some classic elements of Mauritian culture: the food vendors, the fruit stands, and the locals playing cards and games of dominoes. At the end of the beach, near the fish market, check out the arrival of the day's catch. This well-maintained area has plenty of benches, or you can grab yourself a spot on the warm sand for a touch of sunbathing. The beach does feature a limited swimming area, but it's not the main attraction, as the moored boats dominate the water. • The beach at Grand Baie is very small and swim one can also not really, that I already knew. Nevertheless you can relax here nice and the go cool off in the sea. 2 sun loungers and 1 beach umbrella cost 500 rupees. There are many small stalls where you can buy drinks and super delicious food on the road. Can be then to the eat the benches under the shade-giving trees put or make a small walk to the Bazaar. The landlord of the deck watch Meanwhile on our stuff. We like it very.
