Very nice place to document yourself away from the noise and hot weather of the capital. Entery is free but there's no assistance at all.
The only natural history museum in Mauritius. Not very dynamic but very interesting nevertheless. The whale seems very artificial now, after all these years of painting and repainting.
A little gem that has a really good collection of local specimens of species still with us and many that, unfortunately, are no longer.
Came in with zero expectations, and was pleasantly surprised. Free entry, a lot of information and more exhibits than I expected. Worth a trip if around the area.
