  • We've been there when it is nearly closed, but overall feel that it is quite dirty and unkempt, although cuirous with spices and fruits and things like that. Not a fan to be honest.  more »
  • To see but it's not what we liked the most... Full of high market in colors and odors! We rather enjoyed the landscape

  • The fruit and vegetable market is intriguing with countless unknown fruits and spices. The souvenir market is somewhat tiring for European noses and unusual, but absolutely worth seeing. As a tourist, but quickly paying double the price!

  • Packed with fruit and vegetable sellers, very colourful. You need to be firm with hangers on who want to "help you" to show you around. There are some interesting stalls of local handicrafts. It can get hot and packed with people. Keep an eye on your valuables.
  • Do visit to get the local flavor and food. Don't buy souvenir from here you'll get them cheaper at the Super U store or any other mall.
  • We just loved the choices offered around the market, not too pushy sellers, good and cheap local food and drinks. Hard to find parking space. Extremely humid weather.. Loved the buzzing market and the whole city.
  • Crowded market selling various handicrafts and groceries which you can also find in the supermarket. Prices of handicrafts are negotiable and bargaining is a must if you want to get the best value for money.
  • The best alouda of Mauritius is here. Good food court in General.
