  • Unless price lowest than anywhere else. If someone is looking for souvenirs are just there. Tea, pocztowki, magnets and everything you need.

  • I just think of the ground floor, the fruits and vegetables. Went with a taxi driver local that we helped to buy, also to remove money in some ATMs. The truth is that it is very typical and I think well worth a visit, colors, scents, typical, different fruit and vegetable types. I think that is stop mandatory, at least this plant.

  • Packed with fruit and vegetable sellers, very colourful. You need to be firm with hangers on who want to "help you" to show you around. There are some interesting stalls of local handicrafts. It can get hot and packed with people. Keep an eye on your valuables.
  • Do visit to get the local flavor and food. Don't buy souvenir from here you'll get them cheaper at the Super U store or any other mall.
  • We just loved the choices offered around the market, not too pushy sellers, good and cheap local food and drinks. Hard to find parking space. Extremely humid weather.. Loved the buzzing market and the whole city.
  • Crowded market selling various handicrafts and groceries which you can also find in the supermarket. Prices of handicrafts are negotiable and bargaining is a must if you want to get the best value for money.
  • The best alouda of Mauritius is here. Good food court in General.
