  • The fish where so amazing to see and cared for very well. Very interesting to see all the sea life. would definitely recommend, its not very big and only take up about 2 hours of the day but defiantly...  more »
  • We went to discover this small aquarium without any prejudice or special waiting if it wasn't to spend a good time. In the end we were disappointed and left with the feeling of a "if we knew". We explain why. Material: the course begins with a series of small successive aquariums with different varieties of fish in the lagoon. Joinery of wood covering the bins have taken water and swelled. Sometimes even the paint is peeling. In the Aquarium, the only decoration is limited to same sand from sea, dead (white) corals and fish them. No plant, algae. Nothing. You will then follow the corridor bordering 2 big aquarium located outside, which isn't necessarily a good idea, because when weather is nice, the reflections are bothersome to see the fish. The big bin (the final attraction) is no exception to the above with more water pumped directly from the lagoon that is so disturbing that it's hard to see the fish in depth (even with big spotlights halogen hung above...) Fish: but make no mistake, these are not infrastructure which us have cooled... These are all the fish (small and large) found dead, wounded or dying as the visit that makes us queasy. See as many fish wrong point in a single day, implies that mortality should be daily... the price to pay to create the tourist attraction. (FYI the aquarium doesn't have a nursery, so all exposed fish were collected in the lagoon). And don't talk about the big final tray or the density of fish is pushed to the extreme to counterbalance turbid water that prevents to see at the other end. For us the role of an aquarium is to take care and show animal life, not to let her die and renew as of the consumable for one entered to 300 rupees. The shop and the small refreshment area however are nickels... :/ Visit 15-20 min a Board if you want to see beautiful tropical fish, a baptism of diving in Mauritius or see other aquariums (the meeting worth a look if you do a hook). We no more bring nobody in this death house. :(
