Pointe d'Esny, Mahebourg
(4.5/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web)
For a bit of paradisal beach time, head to Pointe d'Esny, known by locals as one of the best bits of white sand beach and turquoise water on the island. Along with the nearby bay, this stretch is often referred to as Paradise Beach, which is no exaggeration. You can expect crowds, but the lush scenery of moutain peaks, swaying palms, and limpid water make the visit worthwhile. If relaxing at the beach isn't your thing, jump aboard a catamaran for a trip to the nature reserve on île aux Aigrette. Tours start from this beach. • Very nice view of the coral reef and island egrets, sand starfish, permanent show with the wake board, only minus the current is not insignificant to appreciate properly the few spots of corals on the right side of the beach.

  • A wonderful place for lagoon visits. There is a public right of way on the beach, which is a almost alone at least in October at the disposal. The place can be reached between Mahebourg and Blue Bay with bus or taxi. You should bring food themselves, because there's no shopping or dining ´ Esny on the Pointe d.

  • The beach is protected without direct access to the road. You have to park and very well marked access is on foot. Predict of what freshen up and recover... Unlike blue bay which has the amenities of tt.
