Grand Baie Bazaar, Grand Baie
(2.3/5 based on 320 reviews on the web)
Browse the busy stalls at Grand Baie Bazaar, a covered craft market. Find handmade trinkets, textiles, and ornaments alongside tourist souvenirs, and remember to haggle for what you choose to get the best possible price. Some of the jewelry stores here have real bargains if you know what you're looking for among the wide variety of gold pieces, semi-precious stones, and gems. The mock-designer clothing, on the other hand, can be pretty low on quality. Head to one of the snack stands to refuel with some authentic Mauritian street food. Plan your visit to Grand Baie Bazaar and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Grand Baie tourist route planner.

  • No particular interest, of the counterfeit, a lot of junk. If you like be arrested at each "booth" without being able to look at a single article, this place is for you; It is neither more nor less than a simple souk without local products. Spices are the same as in super market but increasingly dear ;-)

  • Kram's small Bazaar with lots of Touri. It is addressed very often by the sellers what can be sometimes very annoying. The quality of the shirts and shorts are always looking down be prices at least in half.

  • Ok but lots of the same things as every other market. Ensure you haggle down.
  • Overly pushy sales people on every single stall - 100+ stalls of crap.
  • Rather shop around at other shops, like Super-U, their price are a lot cheaper than the places at the Bazaar.
  • You can find good souvenirs and other items but the price is higher than what you will find in other areas of the island.
  • We sell our Local Products of Mauritius
